Sonia and her family in Truth or Consequences recommended I stop at Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument, located 40 miles southwest of Santa Fe, New Mexico. When I mentioned to Karen that I was thinking of going there she was very excited and offered to make me a peanut butter and banana sandwich.
Why do I mention how I got to Tent Rocks and the sandwich?

You see, it is things like this, the suggestions, the enthusiasm, the kindness, the generosity, that are so overwhelming and so affirming, that make me realize, I am not on this journey alone, I am on this journey with thousands, with infinite possibility and connection to all others, that all of us reach out and touch one another through exponential ways.
Well it was an amazing detour, and I am so grateful I got there.

By the time I got to Santa Fe the sky was getting dark and just as I pulled into the driveway of my home for the next few nights the sky opened up with hail. I used my plastic covered Road Atlas to shield my head from the pounding as I ran inside.
After putting my groceries in the refrigerator I went to switch off the light and right there above the switch, there were butterflies in the kitchen.
